Saniflo macerator

The place we're buying has a non-working saniflo macerator attached to the toilet in the main bathroom. Does anyone know how much it would cost to fix / replace it?
I have never been keen on macerators and I'm thinking it might be a good idea to get rid of it altogether. Does anyone know how much would it cost to connect it properly to the drains? It is an upstairs toilet.
TIA

It completely depends on how easy it is to connect to a soil pipe, impossible to say without seeing it. Ask a plumber for a rough estimate.
