Cream/Ivory kitchen with white appliances?

Kitchen hunting just now and although white was my original colour of choice I'm now finding them a bit cold looking so thinking of cream or ivory.

Would white appliances stick out like a sore thumb next to this colour?

I don't like integrated appliances.

We had this in our old house and I thought it looked fine, but then I don't like integrated appliances either.

I have ivory units, cream walls, grey range cooker and floor and white upright f/freezer, woodwork and blind.

Looks great to me.

I have ivory kitchen with white fridge freezer and it looks fine. I do have an integrated dishwasher though which I think helps as that's right in the middle of a big run of units where the FF is on an end.

We've got a cream kitchen, but went for integrated appliances (dishwasher and f/freezer) as I think they look much better. Depending on the layout of your kitchen, I think a f/freezer that's not integrated can look ok (wouldn't have worked in our kitchen layout though) but dishwasher would be better integrated. Is it the cost difference which is putting you off? Because in the grand scheme of things, that is a fraction of the overall price of a kitchen.

Mrs Merrick - no, cost not an issue on this subject. I don't like integrated appliances (don't really like fitted kitchens either, but have to compromise!). Just don't like the look of them or the fact they are smaller and the faff with them when something goes wrong.
