I'm wondering if anyone who lives around the area of Bromley, Kent, can advise me on what parts of Bromley are good places to live and what parts should be avoided and why. I'm asking because I'm looking for housing in that general region for self and 2 boys both heading into secondary school level, and I've been told that Bromley has good and less good patches, but not advised which are which. My budget is limited and I'm not sure whether the parts of Bromley I can afford are good or not. For example, what is Downham like (and why)? and what about Orpington - again I'm told there are good and not so good bits. Which are which and why. Advice appreciated. Thank you :)
