Recommended Solicitor Reading

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has had a good recommendation for property solicitor in Reading.
I am a FTB with 70% deposit, principle agreement appointment set up next week and registering with all estate agents in the area today, but have never used a solicitor before.

TIA

We have used Boyes Turner for quite a few purchases/sales and have been very pleased.
Also used Field Seymour Parkes for two previous house purchases when I was single, they were excellent (as they were at dealing with my divorce).
The only reason we went with Boyes Turner was when I met DH they were the solicitor he used, so continued with them.

Oh and I can also recommended a great independent mortgage adviser who has set up approx 8 mortgages for us.

Yes! I don't even live there any more but still use the same conveyancer - Sarah Imrie at The Head partnership. Just solid, good and no nonsense. And she returns calls/emails promptly. We bought our house in 5 weeks from having the offer accepted to completion!

And I also know a really good mortgage advisor too. Maybe the same one as HaveToWearHighHeels? He has done 2 residential and one buy to let for us and has been great in every way.

Thanks, I will be making appointments with both next week.
I just want a no nonsense/gets the job done person, sounds just what I'm looking for.
