Bath panels- how much!!!!!????

We have reused our newish bathroom suite in our bathroom- but it has swapped sides so the panels are no good- the plumber had cut the ends.

It's a Kohler bath and from what I can see the panels will cost £150!!!!

Does anyone know can I use any bath panels or somewhere where I might get some cheaper Kohler panels please?

Our builder has put a hardboard frame around our bath as we wanted it tiled. Is this something that's possible for you?

Remember if you tile the panel you still need access due to sods law.

An option is to build a timber frame and use a hard board panel with chrome dome screws which should be brass £25.00 quid

Bath panels cost as much as you want to pay.

Is it a simple rectangle or some silly elegant curved shape?

It has got to be easily removable for plumbing, don't let anyone fix it in with tiles or silicone.

B and q do standard cheapish ones.

Thanks - plumber is getting us one £60 not too bad.

No idea what panel was on our bath, but it was split, so DH made one out of some tongue and groove and a bit of beading for about £20!

Probably no help at all, of course!

My DH is more likely to fly to the bloody moon than make a bath panel!! :)

DIY stores do generic ones that will fit most baths. We swapped a disgusting, peeling, warped one on our bath for something a bit more new and shiny.
