Would this be okay, or naff?

Decorating bedroom and ensuite. Bedroom will have greige carpet, en-suite has stripped floorboards. Bedroom has two large sash windows (long curtains) and en-suite has one sash window, and one small cottagey window (both will have roman blinds).

Would it be a good idea, or naff, to have the same fabric in the bedroom and en-suite? The fabric I have in mind is white with infrequent small embroidered leaves on it, so very subtle.

I can't decide if this is a good idea and will unify the two rooms, or if it is a bit matchy-matchy? Any thoughts?

Sounds good to me OP.

matchy is good, I say go for it. I have a cream/beige bedroom with red blinds, bed throw, cushions etc, ensuite has beige tiles and cream walls, so have red towels and accessories, looks rather nice and ties the two rooms.

I hate matchy-matchy, but this sounds like good-matchy to me. Go for it OP.

Sounds fine to me

However if you added matching cushions, bedspread and swags over the curtain poles then it would be naff Wink
