Do you think they will take this back?

I bought a light from Ikea, lovely pretty light, took me ages to find something I likes. It is central ceiling light in living room. It has about 24 LED lights on it.

Dh put it up, and we sat back and turned it on.

It is very, very dim. So dim that as a central light it is useless. We ummed and arghed about keeping it anyway, as we like it, but after living with it for a few days it really is just very, very dim.

Dh has found that it actually says in the small print on the website that the only gives off the equivalent light of a 15 watt bulb.

I think it is pretty much useless as a light and I want to take it back.

Do you think I can? We still have all the box and packaging etc.

If you have the receipt and the packaging Ikea will take anything back no questions asked. Their returns policy is brilliant.

Oh that is great news. Ikea is quite a long way from us, so don't want a wasted journey.
