I like this fabric for curtains for the living room but will the fact they are 100% linen mean they are always creased?

Hi,
I know this fabric well and do not think it will crease. It depends on the individual fabric. Curtain fabric is not like clothing I that it just hangs. They can be ironed before hanging or (better) steamed into beautiful folds while hanging. Linen curtains are beautiful.

I have some linen curtains which were steamed in to folds when put up - year on and they still look great, no creases. That fabric looks lovely, I would go for it!

Thankyou Flowers

Would you recommend interlining as well as lining?

What do you use to steam into folds once hung? - I will be getting a local curtain maker to make them up, so will she know how to do this.

Hi,
Your curtainmaker will give you prices for lining and interlining. Usually the price fir interlining is prohibitive and people chose just lining.
They will be able to steam them, using a steamer or a steam generator iron.
