I've been roaming rightmove for weeks trying to find a perfect area to bring up my daughter, which has inexpensive housing. My mum is due to move to Bromley soon, and my sister lives there at the moment so am keen to go. Though my only problem is I want a bigger house I'm in at the minute (2 up 2 down) but am finding the prices in Bromley rather high, though not in the Downham area. I wondered if anyone had any info on what it's like to live there? And if it's a nice area, and not being rude, not rough. Living in southeast London at the minute, which is not nice, so am keen to live in a nice neighbourhood! If you have any other suggestions where house prices are a little cheaper but in the bromley/beckenham area let me know!
