We are moving things around to create a sort of utility area in the garage.
We need a washing machine moved from the kitchen into the garage which is immediately behind, and plumbed in. So it will involve probably knocking a small hole in the exterior wall to run a pipe through I guess. Then they will probably need to do some moving of electrical sockets etc to get them in the right place (there already are electrical points in the garage but they may not meet current regs), then a bit of carpentry as there is currently a work surface that is there and that will need taking out and replacing with something similar that will fit the new arrangement. It will also need to fit around a tumble dryer that is there already and a spare fridge freezer.
We have no DIY skills, so can't do any of this ourselves. Is this relatively easy to do - should we be looking at a handyman type or is this something that a plumber should do because of the need to move the water pipes? Any help would be great. Thanks.
