Has anyone done this? Were you pleased? How much did it cost?
My kitchen has approx. 500 x 60 cm of countertops.
TIA Smile

Yes. Ages ago - but it looked great. Granite Transformations was the name of the company I think. Can't remember cost, but it wasn't cheap!

My dads just had a quote for this and tbh it's almost the same cost as I'm paying for direct replacement.

we had a quote from Granite Transformations and a quote from a stone mason using real granite slabs ( not overlay). quotes were almost idetical so we went for the real granite and havent regretted it at all. We were having our kitchen redone though; an overlay might be easier if you're not wanting the upheaval involved with replacing your worktops.
tbh, dh and I also felt we'd rather have the real thing. I do have a friend who's gone for the overlay and you can tell the difference.
