Front door colour

Evening All

I am about to replace the horrible front door on my mid-terrace Victorian house. On a budget so going for this door from Wickes, which gives us the period appeal without the stonking great price tag that some bespoke companies come with.

www.wickes.co.uk/invt/165895 (Hope the link works!)

One of my neighbours has it and it's beautiful when in situ.

Anyway, colour. The house is rendered with a cream finish. I am thinking of going for a bright turquoise. There are lots of the eau de nil F&B shades round here and I thought it would be nice to make a statement.

Yay or nay? Also, any ideas of paint manufacturers that don't charge a fortune please?

Something like F&B's St Giles Blue but without the price tag - or is it worth it?

I have a turquoise door! Love it!

Ooh that's good Quint! Do you mind me asking the brand/colour? Also, what type of door furniture do you have on it?

Currently overhauling the entire house, driving myself mad researching paint, door knobs, bathrooms etc!

It is Anglian. Hardwood. I had to replace all windows and doors last year.

Door furniture is Chrome handle and letterbox . No knocker, we have a doorbell.

The picture is not very clear.

Turquoise sounds great! Quint, love your door. I saw a bright raspberry red/pink one once and have hankered for one ever since :) :)

Gorgeous, and love the blonde curly hair too!

Just uploaded a better close up of door.

Thanks. Grin
