you might be better off in Dorchester a Thomas hardy school is excellent - took our daughter out of prep school in Poole to attend there ! Poole is only 35 mins drive if you need to go there for work ! but Dorchester and the surrounding rural villages are lovely !

I don't personally like Poole. private schools are expensive here but I didn't realise they were more expensive than elsewhere. There aren't that many of them though. Worth contacting the grammars on the offchance they have spaces that have arisen from people leaving and haven't been filled. (there are girls grammars in Poole and in Bournemouth) Have you checked the prices of Bournemouth Collegiate and Talbot Heath?

Yes I have checked the Bournemoutj Collegiate and Talbot Heath but still twice the price as devon schools what is it people dont like about Poole It seems lots of people are against it is it better than bournemouth to live or not I need to live near the sea as I love it so much but want it safe for my girl and though Im hgetting on a bit in life I still like a bit of life in a town
