Replacing a kitchen cupboard with a table - where to buy?

I have a U shaped kitchen with one cupboard on it's own at the end of the U. A bit like this:

8888888
8....... 8
8....... 8
8....... 7

I want to take out cupboard 7 and replace with a table so it looks like this:

8888888
8....... 8
8....... 8
8 ....777

The only trouble is that I'm having trouble finding a table narrow enough as it can't be any wider as it's next to a doorway.

I've looked everywhere I can think of so if anyone has any suggestion that would be great.

Another thought I had was to get some more of the worktop which is on the cupboard and have a breakfast bar but wondered how easy it is to get the same as what's already there.

Love your makeshift diagrams!

Is cupboard 7 60cm wide? Well, you could get a nice bit of wooden worktop anyway, and some table legs from ikea or something, and make your own table to fit. I think standard worktops are about 60 wide (maybe 62 or something), you can get it cut to whatever length you want, and you'd only need to be able to work a screwdriver to do it.

Thanks BrownSauce

The diagrams were my second attempt. The first one didn't have the dots in so it all squash up!

I'm planning on painting the kitchen cupboards so if I can't get a bit of worktop that matches the rest I'll just get a bit of wood, put an Ikea leg on and paint it.
