Express Bi-folding doors - Worst service ever

Hi there, just wanted to post an update on our experience with Express Bi-Folding Doors that we used to completely change our doors and windows for our refurbished house in Balham.
Now that we are nearly done with our house we can clearly say the Express Bid-folding doors has the WORST SERVICE EVER. Another NVN user was asking for advice about them and not I can say that the product is good but service is the worst I have ever seen in my life.

  1. Sales people made mistakes in our order, leading to 3-4 weeks delay in the installation
  2. Windows were fitted in two tranches, leaving the house completely "open" for a few days 3)Installation was not precise (one of the window is not straight)
  3. wrong handles were delivered (wrong colour)
  4. one of the post than joins two windows is still missing after 4 weeks of installation and one of the bedroom is not water tight on the back of it
  5. despite several emails/phone calls customer services failed to reply to our requests on a timely manner
  6. now both the management and sales people deny that they made mistakes in the order and they refuse to amend them We are now in the situation that - because of the salespeople mistakes - our windows are not what we ordered and our house is still not water tight despite we live already there.
  7. no cooperation and the lack of service is a great reason of frustration for us

Hope my post is helpful for those of you who are about to choose a windows/door company.

Hi,

that sounds like a totally different experience to the one I have had with the company.

I had a three and a half meter door, 3 panels and solar blinds in, and they were brilliant, we met the company initially at grand designs in Birmingham, went to Leeds to their showroom to see some more of their products (I live in Liverpool, so not a short journey), and everything has gone fantastically. All installed in a half day, and the blinds although a bit expensive, were well worth it!
