Hi -

The only thing I know about Yaledoor (which is licensed by Yale I think, but is a different company) was a few months ago when they were investigated by s TV consumer programme with a very unhappy customer who tried to get his money back because the door warped, didn't fit etc. If I remember correctly Yaledoor wouldn't accept responsibility, but Yale, (although they didn't have to) did arrange a refund.

So I would advise you check thoroughly, and go very carefully.

AFAIK it is a Composite door, and rather expensive. But people who sell plastic windows also sell doors at high prices.

I greatly prefer a solid wooden door.

Thanks. Our current door is solid wood, but cracked Etc. think it was the original on the house so late 60s. I shall shop around and call a local joiner.

We looked at them but went with Rockdoor instead. We're very pleased with it.
