Suggestions please for weekend listing

So after a long hard fortnight busting everything to get the house ready for going on the market today, and everyone else going above and beyond, it seems the estate agent royally cocked up and the listing won't be on until monday now, maybe.

And that was after two hours of increasingly frantic calls from me trying to find out what the frack was going on.

I believe the word I need is APOPLECTIC.

To save total breakdown at the waste of a week I will gumtree etc this eve. So please tell me dear vipers, where can I list? Primelocation and rightmove say they only take agents listings, what me do, suggestions?

If the estate agency is at all useful, it will have a list of people looking for houses in your price bracket so put pressure on them to do a phone round this evening (most estate agencies stay open until 7 or 8) and fix up some viewings for the weekend.

If they can't produce any viewings and you wish to stay with them, I would delay launching the property until Wednesday or Thursday to catch next weekend's viewings.

I musta picked wrong because this lot finish a 5pm on friday, I might try and send an email in the hope that gets picked up, i don't really want to stay with them now but have paid fees so have to.

You've paid them fees but they haven't sold your house/found you a tenant? Are you in England because this sounds very dodgy to me and is not standard practice.

there are some pay up front agents in the UK - the online ones. Lower fees but guess what??

am in Scotland, have to pay listing fees ahead of listing, then agent fees once house sells.
