We have gutted and extended a Victorian terrace which includes new wooden floors in downstairs, new heating etc. the last few weeks there has been a musty stale smell in living room which we think is coming from the crawl space under the house.
Does anyone know what it might be? Damp? Dry rot? And who do we get to look at it? I don't think it's our builders responsibility (unless it's a leak) and I don't want a damp expert looking for business to find a problem where there isn't one iyswim.
Grateful for thoughts, it's pretty depressing when everything's so new and shiny!
