Help leaking chimney

In August we had a woodburner installed in the lounge, the chimney was lined. Since the storm at the weekend water has been dripping into the fireplace above which is our bedroom, every time it rains.

Any clues as not what the cause is? Should we get the person who put the stove in back?

Is it worth claiming on the house insurance?

Well the person who fitted the stove will probably be able to tell you what the problem is, but it's very unlikely to be something they've done. You could just have them fit a cowl to the other chimney pot (the one which services your bedroom). You may have lost a chimney cowl in the storm, or had some damage to the stack. Unlikely to be worth claiming on your house insurance for unless the work runs into the hundreds.
