House with CCTV

If you saw a house with CCTV on it for sale, would you still consider it?

I am in a quandary over will CCTV prevent my house sale and should I risk taking it down?

CCTVmum it was a shame, it was his pride and joy for about six months (it wasn't a new one or anything) then he needed two new tyres which had to be Jaguar ones and he was 'wtf £270 each!!!' he got rid soon after Grin

so then the cctv was keeping an eye on my lowly punto Grin

In London lots of houses have CCTV. Our previous house had it fitted by previous owner (Islington).

Current house had it fitted by previous owner.

Neither house had been broken into.

Whilst looking both times we viewed lots of houses with CCTV fitted (£1m+ bracket).

It's not that unusual. And it wouldn't necessarily make me worry more about crime.

The buyers of our previous house were delighted it had CCTV as they would have installed it anyway as the place they were selling had been broken into.

Sold a house with cctv, no problem. Houses around here often have cctv, no break ins just a precaution.

thanks for feedback MrsFlo and impty.

I guess not being somewhere like London and in a quiet area it is very rare even the 3/4 mil houses down the lane don't have CCTV. I think it is not common here.
