I live in the NW and am wanting a couple of blinds fitting. Can anyone recommend a good blinds company, national or in my area?

I don't want to end up being pestered by some big national company with crap sales methods, just want someone to come and do the job with the minimum of fuss.

Thanks

Where abouts in north west are you?

I know a couple of good places in the North West - not sure if these locations are any good for you.

Lorraine Shaw, Culcheth
Beau Maison, Stockton Heath, Warrington

I used this company online: www.blindsuk.net/ - they send samples out for free. We got wooden blinds from them which were very reasonable and work perfectly five years on.

I'm in Calderdale, NoAddedSuga. Some companies might cover the whole of the NW though.

Thank you, Suebfg and Lomaamina, will check those out.

If you can fit them youseld I'd recommend 247 blinds. Made to measure, excellent price n quick delivery. All kinds of blinds.

Thanks Cheryl, they sound good.

247 blinds are reasonable but the quality is only OK I would say. We had blinds made for our study by them and they look cheap. Fine for functional blinds - not what I would call 'home furnishings' though if you get my meaning.

We use Wilson's blinds (online). Had wooden Venetians and roller blinds by them, good quality, good prices.

Iheart...thanks, will look into that company. Suebfg, thanks for your comment too. All useful.

I used blinds2go 3 times now and they have been great, one if my blackout blinds in the kids rooms had a little chink of light showing through and I emailed them to see what they would do about it and they sent me a brand new one within a few days. The quality is good and you can get free swatches before you order.
