How long for your valuation?

We applied for a mortgage today then got a message notifying us of the survey date. We have to wait three weeks!

I thought they were done within a few days, anyone else have a long wait. Also how long do you have to wait for the report, we are having a home buyers survey.

Depends who you're with, I waited a few days but my brother (with different lender) just waited three and a half weeks. I've heard you get report in 2-3 days (ish) depending how busy they are. Best of luck.

Lloyds tsb was who went with and it was 3 weeks. Still stuck in buying and selling process and we sold end of aug!

Hi Cheryl We are waiting for our buyers to sort their survey out for our place ATM. We had our survey done on 2oct afaik our buyers still haven't got a date. The EA has assured us. the buyers have paid for it but still waiting. If i were them I'd be v peed off.

Ours was about a week wait. Our vendors have had to wait about 3 weeks though. I guess it depends how busy they are.

Doesn't seem to unusual to wait three weeks then.

123rd, I'd be really annoyed too. Yes we have a three week wait but at least we have it booked!

We had ours done on Thursday, that was over three weeks wait, if we couldnt do that day, the next date was November

Well Orange, that was my point to our EA. even if they were given a date sometime in the future at least it's a date! Think I shall be back on at them tomorrow

We were waiting ages for Santander to organise their survey, like 4-5 weeks, the sellers had my phone number and kept harassing me about it! Seemed to take ages for everything to happen and we weren't even in a chain
