We keep getting told that people put their houses on the market in spring? Is that right or is it busy in January?
We are thinking of moving!Smile

Properties go on the market anytime of the year but majority prefer to put theirs on in the spring, March/ April time. Saying that we put our property on in October 2009 (no plan to move but a great opportunity came up to buy privately) sold in a week and finally moved in Feb 2010

We are going on the market at the end of Jan/Feb - I know it's not the best time of year but I don't see the point in waiting. I've taken loads of pictures of the garden in full bloom this summer. Fingers crossed we won't have to wait months for a buyer I'm not sure my nerves will take it!

I don't know if things have changes but a number of years ago I worked as an EA and we weren't allowed to take holidays jan - April because it was deemed the busiest time.
