Hallway tiles, border or no border??

we're having black and white tiles put in our hallway and can't decide if we should have a black border tile on the edges or not. WWYD?

If you google 'black and white hall tiles' and look at images then you can have a look and try and find something that looks like what you are proposing. Generally I liked borders with most of the tiles except bigger tiles in a more modern setting.

If you are using older Victorian style tiles then I thing borders look lovely.

How big are the tiles? Are they ceramic? And being set at 45 degrees to the walls? I think for smaller tiles, say up to 15cm (6"), and at an angle to the walls, a simple black border (about 10cm) is spot on. Bigger tiles, it's less critical, and tiles set square to the wall, it'd be trickier to make it look right.

I guess that sort of overlaps with what ihavea is saying.
