Re-painting existing white wooden floor

Painted existing wooden floorboards five years ago, they looked fab, but have just redecorated same room and the floor looks tired in comparison to nice new walls. Want to keep them white. When I did them the first time, I hired a sander, sanded, cleaned, primed, three coats. Surely I don't have to do that again? Would I be able to get away with a light hand sanding (room is small) and one fresh coat of paint?

Or am I being lazy??!!!!

Try it and see ! I think it sounds ok to just give it a light sand ! :-)

I just repaint mine when I do them...
