It has 2 drawers that work independently.
Fisher and Paykel.
Have any of you seen one in RL?

We looked at a house with one of these, vendor loved it and said she would be getting another one. No real life experience though sorry.

Great concept but patchy build quality and poor after sales. Not a product we recommend.

EastwickWitch · 12/10/2013 16:25

Thanks Wonky did you have a fiddle with it? probably an odd thing to do when looking round someone else's home

I have seen that dishwasher but don't own one. It's been around for a while.

However I love F&P. They're a Kiwi company I think. their fridge/freezers are excellent.

Yes rented a flat quite a few years back and was good for a couple but now with kids we fill a big one fast. You can also have just one small drawer and I think this is a good market for them with flats getting more and more compact. It worked ok and used very little water so ecoetc but not sure worth the extra.

That'd helpful, thanks. I put mine on at least twice a day so maybe not the best choice...but often it's just full of mugs, so maybe I would just put one drawer on.
The differentness of it appeals.

I had one for two years, left that house in 2008. It was really good and I'd have one again. Great for a single person or couple; for a family I'd want two full size dishwashers to achieve the same thing. It never went wrong but there were installation issues.

My in laws have had one for ages and they love it. I've been considering one as we fill up our dishwasher with mugs really quickly. We only put ours on every two or three days at the moment and I struggle to fill the bottom of it.

My grandparents have one and they love it. Think it's around 5 years old now and they have never had any problems with it.

I have the single drawer version of this and I love it. Had one in my old house but left it when I moved. New house came with a normal dishwasher, as soon as this broke I replaced with a F&P dishdrawer. Never had any issues with it.

We are a family of four and I probably run it twice every 3 days, daily at weekends when we're all about. It honestly doesn't take much less than the previous one.

I also love that I don't bend over to stack it, just easier all round. We put a cupboard under ours too so it frees up space.

Would highly recommend!
