I'm posting on behalf of my brother & sil really. Basically, they've been trying to sell their house in Scotland to relocate to the Midlands (db has been working there since April).
Anyway, they can't get a buyer for their house so have decided to let it out. They require Landlords Insurance to satisfy the mortgage company but they had to claim against their insurance after a flood & the handful of companies they have managed to contact have point-blank refused to entertain cover.
They have a potential tenant & have secured places for their children on appeal at schools in the Midlands so need this sewn up ASAP.
Can anybody recommend a company?
