We are in our early thirties with a 4 month old DD and are looking to buy a house for the first time. Both of us are currently working in Central London. What we are looking for is an area with excellent state primary school (including Catholic schools) and secondary schools, reasonable commute to London ( 45 mins - 1 hour). Our budget is around 400k mark for a 3 bedroom house, could stretch upto 500k if it ticks all our boxes.
Currently live in Staines, but would like to move out of there for better schooling options ( primary and secondary). I am currently pondering on Weybridge, Dorking. Would love to consider Strawberry Hill, Teddington, but don't think I will get something decent within my budget.
Are there more places I could consider ? If anyone's got any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
