Outward opening stable door?

We'd like to swap our back door for a stable door but it needs to be outward opening where a lot of the ones we're seeing in the major DIY shops are inward opening..

My in laws had one made to their specs.. It was however more than we're looking to spend.

Has anyone seen one from any retailers which open outwards?

Many thanks!

the door doesn't mind. The hinges don't mind, you just fit them the other way round. A mortice lock doesn't mind. A nightlatch (yale) usually only works on inwards opening doors, though you can get specials.

The door frame, however, has an outside and an inside. You could get a joiner to fit a new frame and hang the door the way you want.

It would not be impossible to take out the old frame and turn it round, but it would almost certainly be damaged and much more labour.

A competent joiner can fix a frame and hang a door far better than a DIYer or handyman, and faster, too.
