Sliding door / Barn door to bathroom?

We're renovating a house with a very small bathroom and one of the options to create more space/flexibility might be to put in a sliding door.

It's a 1950s house and we're going for clean lines/minimilistic look.

What do you think?

If you want a clean minimalist look I would go for a pocket door, where the door slides into a recess between the two walls.

I wanted to do this in my utility and wc but there was not enough wall space for the door to slide into.

Pocket door! I'd never heard of that before Belindabelle - thanks. I've been googling lots on sliding doors but this hasn't come up.

Looks like there are possibilities.
