Fitted bedrooms

Hi, looking for some info from people that have got fitted bedroom furniture put in. I have a pretty small bedroom. Already has fitted wardrobe with ancient sliding doors. I want to replace them with doors that open on hinges. Will be four doors. Then matching bedsides and a two metre run of matching drawers. Is it possible to get this sort of thing for around the two grand mark or less or am I completely delusional??
Thanks!

Yes but use a local firm they are often cheaper.

Don't do it if you are planning to sell, or let, your house/flat. The fitted nightstands in particular (if I understood correctly what you are planning) will limit the size of bed future inhabitants/tenants can have in there and may well make the room unusable to them with their existing furniture. Our last two rented houses have each had at least one room rendered useless or impractical to us, by fitted furniture. Such a good thing DD co-sleeps, so doesn't "need" the room! Hmm

^^ this.

Fitted furniture puts me off when viewing a house, as I know I'll have to rip it straight out to accommodate my furniture. However if you're planning on staying in the house rather than selling/renting it out, then have what you want Smile

thanks. no plans to move in the next few years. the drawers etc I was thinking would be free standing but matching if you know what I mean. really just the wardrobe doors would be fitted. yeah fitted furniture would put me off buying a place too Smile
