Chipped a chunk out of my ceramic sink

I put this in chat but realise that property might be better.

I was washing a big vase & knocked the edge of my big double butlers sink.
Amazon do sell a repair kit with mixed reviews.
Please tell me there's a simple solution. I really can't start trying to replace it.

Hi - we used these people www.thebathbusiness.co.uk/ to repair our chipped and peeling ceramic bath and sink. It was a days work and it looks good as new. Our other option was to rip the bathroom apart to take them out and replace them - not going to happen!. We now have a "new" bath & sink so was definitely pleased with the result.

millie, thank you, I'll follow them up. I'm gutted at my clumsiness, I suspect taking the sink out will include removing the worktop & it sounds too costly.

Watching with interest. I dropped a bottle of perfume in ours about 2 days after it was fitted (oops).

Is it covered on your house insurance

EastwickWitch · 23/09/2013 19:20

Gosh, I didn't think of that. I'll go a check.
