Under cabinet lighting

Do I need it, and if so, what shall I go for? Need to decide soon!

I have it and love it, I have 4 evenly spaced under my wall cabinets.

We got it in the last house - never used it.

Depends on what other lighting you have in/planned.... Our electrician gave us great lighting advice. Can you ask? (I think it really depends on kitchen set up)

Yes, I will ask I think. What type of lighting is best - LED, flourescent or halogen?

We've just had dimmable LEDs fitted. Very expensive bulbs but they're supposed to last years. Quality of light is very nice and I believe they're really efficient for electricity use.

I've got the led strips under the cabinets, really nice.
