Bedroom furniture - bit better than ikea?

Need a chest of drawers and bedside tables. Went to Ikea but they all look so cheap. Any recommendations for slightly better quality than Ikea but not too pricey?

John Lewis House range? It's supposed to be their more basic stuff so still flat pack, but might be better.

Try habitat?

I would normally agree with you on the quality of ikea, but I bought a chest of drawers and two bedside cupboards from their Henmes range, in white, about 6 years ago. THey are still as new. They are used in our spare room, but they are well used. I would really recommend the range. My ILs have that range in two of their bedrooms too, and it looks great. The wardrobe and chest of drawers, in the brown/grey colour, looks particularly nice.

Thanks all. Love the Habitat stuff but a bit pricier than I'm looking for. The JL House one looks good for £75 - hopefully it'll come back in stock soon

I've been lokoing at furniture here. www.oakfurnitureland.co.uk/ My friend has a dining table and chairs and they are lovely, I'd love to have some of their stuff.

Warren Evans is really good, and reasonable prices

We've got an oak furniture land bed for DS and was very impressed with the quality for the price.
