Porcelanosa Reviews Please

I am shortly about to buy some items for our bathroom renovation. I was all set to buy items from Porcelanosa until I saw some terrible reviews online. I am not sure whether this was one very disgruntled reviewer with multiple reviews or they really are as terrible as the reviews seem to suggest. Please let me know any of your experiences.

when we were doing our house up I enjoyed wandering around the shop but would NEVER have bought from them.

On reflection, they've not been that great - tiles absolutely fine, but toilet seat is poorly fitting and not been easy to fix, and the pop up plugs for the sinks have caused ongoing problems.

We bought everything at vastly reduced rates too, would never pay full price there.

we got all of our tiles from an independent tile warehouse - much more fun and better value

I got some gorgeous tiles, still looking good 2 years on. Haven't bought anything else though.

Lovely tiles from there. Looks very posh and smooth 3 years on, with minimal maintenance. And we live in a very hard water area, to boot.

tiles are glazed. If they are not shiny 20 years later after an application of vinegar, you have been ripped off.

On the Tiles were great - we got end of line big Spanish tiles to do our shower for £2 each rather than £27
and the mosaic tiles in our kitchen beat anything at the big chains ...

My tiles in the bathrooms still look great 17 years on but cant comment on anything else.

I placed an order with the company and was initially informed that the estimated delivery date was set for November 6, 2024. However, this date continued to slip with no proactive communication from the company. Each time there was a delay, I had to follow up either by calling your front desk or reaching out directly to my salesperson, August Fowler, to receive an update. This lack of communication was both frustrating and unprofessional.

The most recent incident occurred when I contacted Mr. Fowler again about my order. He informed me that it would be ready for pickup on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. However, when my contractor arrived at the store today (12/9/24), they were told the order was not ready for pickup until Wednesday, December 11, 2024. This discrepancy is completely unacceptable, especially given the previous assurances I had received.

I spoke to the so-called store manager, Merced Acevedo, on 12/10/2024. He was so arrogant that he couldn't help with my situation. He just said I could do whatever I wanted.
