We're about to put ID Systems bifold doors in our barn conversion but won't know what they're like til they're fitted pre Christmas (sorry, not helpful!) but they were recommended by our architect and builders (independently of each other).

We put in ID systems bifold a year ago. Very pleased with them. We went and looked at them at their factory in north Norwich - you have to book your visit and you get a very good non-pushy salesman for an hour. We chose them for my disabled DH and they answered all our non-standard questions well. We decided to have them install them too as our builder said he would have charged us about the same, their installers do it all the time so know what they're doing, and (the decider!) you get a much longer guarantee if they install them. Only snag is you have to take the key out before you open them fully otherwise it gets caught in the middle of the fold.
HTH.

Todds Doors do a great wooden one. We fitted an External Door between conservatory and kitchen in order to keep building regs happy

We went with a company called Express Bi FOlding Doors, I am in Liverpool and saw them in Leeds at their showroom, but sure they have a branch down south too!

Have a look at the grand designs/ideal homes shows!
