What is involved, is it worth it?

I am thinking about cavity wall and loft insulation. How much will it cost? 87m2 end of terrace (not including kitchen extension and conservatory.

How difficult is to do under floor insulation?

Have you got any money back on this?

We need our boiler replaced, and considering putting thermostats on all the radiators.

Yes, I have.

I needed it done as a pre-requisite for installing a biomass boiler (see other thread on here).

Man comes round, asks a lot of questions, you need copies of a year's worth of all your energy bills. takes about 2 hours, cost us £150.

Good advice in this blog: www.yougen.co.uk/blog-entry/2237/How+to+choose+a+green+deal+advisor/

Thanks, did you get much money refunded? Ie was it worth the fee?

We haven't had the work done yet. In our case it is a necessary pre-requisite to getting the renewable heat incentive, which will more than pay for the GDA.
