IKEA's composite stone worktops

Look beautiful - has anyone got them? What do you think of them?

I thought Mumsnetters were fans of IKEA kitchens. No-one?

Me! We got one in the summer. It's a sort of beigey-colour with copper flecks in it. Love it. Easy to clean, hides the dirt, looks great, hides the dirt, looks more expensive than it was, hides the dirt, folk comment on "oooh, nice granite" when it's a cheapie version, hides the dirt.

HAve to say, it was still more expensive than I was expecting (we got the wee upriser too, also well worth the money) but, I love it. It hides the dirt, too.

Someone's just told me they are using Caeserstone - is that what you got gussie?

Yep, well done, couldn't remember the name for the life of me.

it's really shiny too. And, it hides the dirt.

I hope I mentioned that, because it's very important to me that my home is either easy to clean, or looks clean even if manky...

I've just asked similar about Earthstone work tops. Also composite. I'm on the verge of deciding...

Gussie How much did it cost?

Heaps, 6 metres of the stuff...ouch. More than the rest of the kitchen...

8 metres here and yes similar in priced to the kitchen cupboards, hob, extractor, oven etc!

£520 per 3m run plus extra bits for fitting

I went to Ikea today to look at them and they're lovely but more expensive than I thought.
Am I being dim? I can't see the composites on the Ikea website. Can you only see them in store?
