Wall mounted bottle rack for 2 litre bottles...is there such a thing?

We are re-doing the pantry to try and gain some more storage. I am going to have a lot of shelves put in, but we have a lot of bottles to store. Some are small ale bottles, some wine bottles and lots of 2 litre bottle of fizzy water.

I know they shouldn't be lay down, but I hate them on the floor.

So as the bottom shelf I want a way of storing them, but I am drawing a blank.

Anyone got one, know of one, recommend. ANYthing?

Thanks!

we have a wine rack that uses wine crates instead of shelves - difficult to explain ... it's about a foot wide - with sides top and bottom - and there's space at the bottom for 3,2,3 stacked coke bottles then a wine crate on a runners attached to the side of the overall shelf. on which sits 3,2,3 stack of lemonade - then another crate on runners, then tonic, 3,3,3 stacked on top ( then top shelf ) we don't keep anything in the wine crates - but you could - I just liked the effect with the writing on the side etc - something like that might be nice ?!?!

Completely different answer, sorry, but have you considered a sodastream instead? We have 2x1L bottles in the fridge at any time: one on the go, one chilling in readiness. I reckon it works out a bit cheaper, long term, than supermarket fizzy water, plus so much less to store, and so much less to recycle.

I've seen a thing you can attach under shelf that lets you hang bottles by the neck collar...will get on to my usual haunts to see where it is .....

Way-hey replies!

THANKYOU.

We can't have a soda stream as DH is dead against it since one of the glass bottles exploded in his face as a kid. It doesn't matter that they are not glass anymore, he just won't entertain the idea!
