Our neighbours are planning to build a large extension against one of our walls.
I'm considering appointing a party wall surveyor, partly because I've been advised to and party because our neighbours plans are not very clear. Has anyone used one? And were you pleased you did? I know the person doing the building work usually pays but were there any additional fees?
