How much does it cost to repoint the chimney?

Does anyone know how much it costs to repoint the chimney in a 1930's semi-detached house? Many thanks.

Not sure about repointing but I just had 2 chimneys re rendered on my single storey house and it cost 1k.
Maybe help as a roughish guide.

It depends on access really - if you need scaffolding it'll cost you a lot more. I had ours done for about £350 including hire of a cherry picker.

We've been quoted £400 (builder reckons he'll use a lader rather than scafolding, so would be maybe double with scafolding I guess).
