We are putting our house on the market but can't decide if its better for the agents to show potential buyers round or should I do it? When we have been looking I prefer the owners showing us round. Dh would rather have the agent. What would you rather???( I think you can get a better idea of the place if the owner shows you. )

Relaxed-so would you offer under OIEO? We aren't in trendy London either Wink

Personally I would. After all, if someone would take £200k, why would I offer more? In fact, I'd offer less because if they'd take £200, maybe they'd take £190 and it's worth a try.

We had mix of ea and us depending on who was free. I would rather do the viewing than make a potential buyer wait to see the property. If they like it it doesn't matter who does the viewing and if they don't they don't! As for cost. We started higher then went for OIEO with the min figure we would except. We got that figure put people did come in lower. I think start at 210 if no interest or offers you have somewhere to go after...?

Agent every time.

Impossible to have an honest conversation when the vendor is there and they normally don't shut up! I need to think when I am viewing houses...
