how long for a nationwide mortgage offer?

Does anyone have any (inside?) knowledge of how long a nationwide mortgage offer takes to be issued? nationwide have confirmed the valuation is acceptable but still no mortgage offer for our buyers. We are risking our sellers getting cold feet and pulling out...

We just got ours the same day as the valuation from Nationwide online.

we got AIP after about a week from starting, valuation wasn't done until 4 weeks later but we received confirmation of the offer that day. Paperwork, which the solicitor needs, took almost a week to get to him. HTH

it is the solicitors papers which are the problem. I'm resigned to it all falling apart now.

Ours took longer than it should because the Nationwide made an admin error.

mine took nearly 3 weeks from valuation and then only because I chased up. I think they had forgotten me.

Chase them up for solicitors docs as they faxed them over as they took over a week in the post.

about 5 weeks, because of an admin error (theirs).
valuation was done within a week, another week until aip.
