Having a nightmare with anyone wanting to actually do our plans! The first time was a architect technician - after 3 months of hassling they said unfortunately they were too busy to do them. Now using a surveying/planner person. Came round in June, we have had the first rough draft.....now nothing! We organised a survey of our drains ourselves. Every time I ring him he says " yes I am sending of the build near application today and will get the revised plans in the post". I am going insane! It is only for a single story extention (neighbour doing the same).
My question is, as we are doing this under permitted development, can we start digging the foundations while we wait for the plans to be submitted? Really don't want to be digging in the cold and rain!
