Next week I'm moving into my new house - which we hope to stay in for 20+ years. Current house has ended up mostly fresh blues, turquoises, and greens, but a bit by accident. The new house is much more beautiful and deserves a thorough job doing, as it hasn't been decorated since the early 80s

We don't have much money right now but we expect to be able to do one room every few years
months. We have lots of custom oak/beech furniture (FIL is a carpenter) and we're planning on reclaimed oak parquet floor downstairs.
I really need some inspiration for our bedroom, which is high on the list - I like pale yellow and the room is south facing and light with fitted white wardrobes. Any suggestions or inspiration?
I'm more of a gardener than a decorator so I need a bit of a push to really 'finish' a room. I 've never had wallpaper but I think the house might suit it.
