Ponders · 19/08/2013 14:34

I see what you mean Grin

Ponders · 19/08/2013 14:35

Climb over the loo to get to the bath, & then over the taps to get into the bath

& how on earth would you clean it???

lalalonglegs · 19/08/2013 15:13

For £22500, I'd put up with it... Otherwise, move the plumbing to the boxroom and knock out the partition wall in the living room. It looks like a great flat from the photos.

I saw this yesterday and laughed. And showed DH and laughed some more. For that price it must have a very short lease.

SoupDragon · 19/08/2013 15:21

Hilarious :o

Just change the bathroom to a wetroom though

We don't 'do' leases in Scotland. It's not in the best of areas.

Agree that moving bathroom into boxroom would solve the problem. How odd that they didn't do that in the first place.

'narrow 3 piece bathroom' must be the most optimistically phrased estate agent description of the year.

I viewed a flat in this building years ago. A third flat had been made by pinching a bit from the 2 original flats on the landing. Awful layout where the kitchen was partitioned of the only bedroom meaning the bedroom had no window.
Worse still was in the living room where the existing tenants were cooking up some drugs!!!!

primallass · 19/08/2013 20:08

The box room is at the side, too far away from the plumbing.

sleepyhead · 19/08/2013 20:13

What were they thinking?? Poor tenants who've probably had to put up with this for years.

MmeLindor · 19/08/2013 20:14

primal
you can move plumbing. It is a bit of a faff, but would make sense in this case.

Just showed DD and she asked how you would use the loo. You'd have to sit sideways.

We visited friends in Berlin whose loo was parallel to the wall - was probably the same size of bathroom.

Rough area, Crannog?

Crannog · 19/08/2013 20:18

It's not the best area Mme but it is very far from being the worst!

edam · 19/08/2013 20:19

Grin That's hilarious.

NoComet · 19/08/2013 22:03

As DD1 has just said that must be the only barthroom smaller than ours!
