mixing paint

hi,an anybody tell me i have some silk paint but dont think it's enough,if i added a little matt emulsion would it split or not go on propally

im guessing its a no no but checking here just in case

How short are you?

Think I'd buy a tester or small pot of the silk emulsion, or add water rather than the matt.

If your worried, why not take a teaspoon of the silk, and a drop of the matt (or however much the ratios would be), mix and apply to some old wallpaper to see what happens?
