I have now removed 7/8 of the tiles in our bathroom, which was tiled floor to ceiling on all walls.

I have drained off the central heating system, and eventually (the nut was stuck so I had to saw the pipe) removed the radiator.

But

We won't have any hot water till I put a new radiator in, which will be a couple of weeks. Thanks god we have a shower (even if it is crap).

And my hair feels like wire wool

tee hee ! but think how much you've saved getting a handy person in ! time for a treatment at the hair salon !!

So you should be! We are a DIY family (SO lucky in DH & BIL). We are renovating a house and are saving £££. I'm a bit of a lightweight tho, so just supervise and chose stuff

Just had a shower. My first one since Friday morning. Feeling really clean now but covered in bruises from the flying tiles

My hair had to be shampooed 3 times before it didn't feel gritty.

I'm actually quite excited about having a 'nice' bathroom for the first time in over a decade.

As you have proven skills....could you put a flexi temporary bi pass to the missing radiator pipes (assuming its a one pipe system) and refill the system?
