Electrician in West London?

There's something weird about some of our wiring, and I'd like someone really competent to look at it. I've tried putting the job on Rated People but only got one interested electrician, who creeped me out when I spoke to him on the phone - all my instincts were telling me not to let him in my house.

Can anyone recommend anyone? I had one recommendation from a friend but the guy she recommended can't help as he's so busy.

Whereabouts in West London? A friend of mine is an electrician in Aylesbury but is often down here doing jobs. He has a First in electrical engineering from Cambridge! And lots of our friends have been pleased with the recommendation. Can PM you his deets.

I'm in Balham/Tooting borders and need a complete re-wire for my 2 bed flat. Wanted to wait until I had builders booked and do everything in one go but the constant smell of burning plastic makes it rather urgent.
