Perrin and Rowe taps

I have seen two people on here today saying not to buy these.

I was going to use them in my kitchen and utility. The person doing my kitchen suggested them.

I thought they were meant to be good quality. What would you recommend instead.

Also what is the mumsnet opinion on those flexible rinse hose things that come out of the worktop.

Don't know but watching with interest. My P and R kitchen tap is pants and needs replacing already after 5 years. Very much style over substance. We chose 'cheap and cheerful' Bathstore in the bathrooms and they are great.

So what do I go for instead?
